Always beautiful

For me, Kühlungsborn and the neighboring places like Heiligendamm and Nienhagen are the most beautiful spots on the Baltic Sea. We have often been on vacation at the seaside, but I find Kühlungsborn the most appealing: the mix of beach life, promenade, pretty shopping streets with fashion, jewelry, souvenirs and everything you could wish for on vacation. You can't starve, it's for There is something for every taste and budget. The adjacent nature with lush meadows and fields are beautified by the cooling, the smallest forest area. The Baltic Sea actually offers everything for an all-round perfect vacation. Whether long hikes, where you usually always have an excellent View of the Baltic Sea is rewarded. The bike paths are well developed, the route from Kühlungsborn to Warnemünde is one of the most beautiful and mostly leads along the sea. The beaches are beautiful, whether for a swim in the sea or a walk on the beach. I love the Baltic Sea no matter what the weather ... Finally, it should be mentioned that the lighting conditions there are breathtaking, regardless of whether it is sunrise or sunset.

Also worth a trip in early October in terms of weather. There was a lot going on on the promenade and on the beach road. Lots of public traffic. Too much. It was quiet right on the water. There could be more benches on the street directly above the beach. The Baltic Sea has enchanted me. I'll be back.

The beach was very nice, there was also a lot of space to lie down. Nevertheless, the Baltic Sea is no longer an option for us. The people are not very friendly and you got the impression that they want our money but not us. For example, in a small fish restaurant opposite the campsite, the lady (probably the owner) hissed at us what we wanted from her and we should rather go to the promenade, we would be better off there. And only after we asked about the opening times. Similar in another restaurant. The place itself is very pretty and idyllic, but also too touristy. Individual shops are rarely found, rather always the same shops with tourist items.

Also at the end of September, beginning of October. Kühlungsborn is beautiful. And for the past three years, the weather played along at that time. Simply great here.

Kühlungsborn is a popular tourist destination. With an endless sandy beach, a beautiful marina and nice bars. There are many good restaurants in town. It is worth taking the Molli to Bad Doberan to go shopping there. It is a little cheaper there than in Kühlungsborn. We have the feeling that everything is a bit more expensive here, even more expensive than in Grömitz ;-) especially the couchette fees in the harbor ....

There are lots of nice shops and friendly sellers. You can take the train and everything is easy to walk.
